This story just is so sweet!!!

Saw this story on Destinee's facebook today and it just touched my heart!!!
My grandpa is 85 years old.Today, I just found out that ever since his wife, his true love, had died, he put roses on her grave every Sunday. The drive is 2 hours away from where he lives. She was 29 when she died.

And the LEAD ROLE goes to......

Junior and Spencer's last band concert for the school year

This past week the boys had their last concert for this school year. They were so excited as grandma and Oma were here to see their performance. They did a great job in band this year! Both bands 6th and 7th grade won 1st place out of 27 school that competed last weekend :)
This will be Juniors last year playing clarinet for the school band, as he is moving on to bass guitar for the church worship team... Spencer will continue on in the school band next year with his percussion's.

Junior Honor Society

Destinee was recognized for being apart of the Junior Honor Society. This was her second year serving in this club at school. She was given a pin to show her outstanding heart of service. She spent over 20 hours serving in our community this past year as well as spent a Saturday morning serving at a soup kitchen in downtown Newport News last month. This was an honor that she treasures close to her heart!
