Gabriel's Class goes to the Pumpkin Patch

I always look forward to being able to go to the pumpkin patch with Gabe and his classmates. We have gone 3 years now and it is always so cute. I love to watch all the kids search for the biggest pumpkin their dollars can buy...and laugh when Gabe always grabs the first small pumpkin he spots.
Here is Gabe and Ms. Carol, his teacher sent by God! We truly believe this...how else do you explain him being in her class for the 3rd year?? :) I think she loves him almost (hahaha) as much as I do!
After they each pick their pumpkins they have to take them to the counter and pay for them with the dollars Ms. Carol gave them before leaving school. So cute..but man..I am not patient...and it makes me even more thankful for the patience Ms. Carol and Ms. Sharonda has for the kids and teaching them and helping them learn and develop social skills.
Also reminded me and made me think how frustrated God must getting being patient with me waiting for me to do something!
Here is his whole class! They are all so great! Look at Grace...little diva of the class!
Ms. Carol and Sharonda and Jessica are 3 amazing women! Please continue to pray for them..asking God to give them strength, patience, joy and compassion for
the job God has called them to :)

Pumpkin Picking!

I love this time of year when the leaves start to change colors and the weather isn't hot but not cold, just PERFECT, and we get to jump on the ferry and head out to College Run Farms in Surry and cut our pumpkins right off a vine :)

Destinee and I picked this one...a Cinderella Pumpkin...hey we are the only 2 girls out of 7 in our house...so we seize every opportunity to make it girly! lol

I was really surprised because Gabe choose this one all by himself and he carried it throughout the entire field..never put it down (until it was too heavy..lol...and he had John carry it) or changed his mind...he must have loved it!!!
Gabe did not want to wait for the cutter..he took it into his own hands and pulled it right out!!!! He is soo funny!
Junior's winner and prize pumpkin ;)
Spencer found himself a winner!
hahaha...we were watching the kids pick their pumpkin..but turned out to be a cute pose..minus the windblown hairdos!!
Nathaniel's pumpkin is as big as he is..lol
He thinks it is perfect!
Spencer on the ferry...
Destinee at the pumpkin patch ( we came late this year so it looks empty!)
I love this picture..both so proud of the ones they picked!
Gabriel has his eyes on the one he loves!
Gabriel on the ferry..he kept saying "Ahoy, Captain!"
hahaha
John enjoying being the pilot :)

Please Pray for Gabriel

John and I have been heavy hearted and anxious. So we ask for you to pray for peace on or behalves as well. We know that the anxiety is a Spiritual Attack, and need God to step in and guard our hearts.
Gabriel has been having lots of seizures the past 2 weeks and though thankfully they are on the more mild side, they mess him up so greatly. The seizures bring severe headaches, aggression, confusion, loss of some speech and developments. We have been to CHKD this past week and his neurologists is tweaking the seizure medicines. He increased the one a bit last week and tomorrow we will increase it a little bit more. Please pray that the new dosage will balance him out as he has grown 4 inches since May and we are praying that this is the reason for the seizures, so once the medicine levels are correct he should stop having them. We are asking God to touch him with His healing hands because the second seizure medicine is at it's maxed dosage and can not be adjusted and we only have a little wiggle room to still increase the one we have been increasing this past week. If this does not work, then we will have to try different seizure medicines and that always brings side effects and all that. So we need wisdom!!!
Also please pray we are waiting for a date this next week for his surgery and we need God to fill us with peace and to give the surgeons and Anesthesiologist knowledge and wisdom. There is always such a great risk of him not waking up from the sedation due to the seizures and all the medicines he takes.
We are asking God to go before though and after the surgery!!!
He is such an amazingly strong boy!
He endures so much and he still has a song of Praise
and words of Prayer to lift up to God each day!

Destinee's Homecoming Dance

Tonight was Destinee's 1st HIGH SCHOOL! Homecoming Dance. She was so adorable!!! I just love her, her personality, her spirit, and the most amazing thing to me is that her beauty goes way beyond outward appearance..she is an amazing girl!
Enjoy the pictures :)

Destinee had the opportunity to go to the dance with a guy from her school and she decided that she really wanted to just be able to go with her "GIRLS" and have lots of fun...
GREAT IDEA!!!!
Here are some pictures of her and one of her BFF's
Destinee and Sabrina...perfect pair??? hahaha

I was so very proud of myself (OH..and of Dest too..I talked her into letting put it up) and the updo that I was able to do...10 years in a salon and never did one..lol...I think it looked pretty good for my first time....
