Going to the DENTIST...UGHHHH
Gabriel broke one of his baby teeth at church Weds. night. So Thursday we had to take him into the dentist to try and have it fixed or whatever. We were not looking forward to this at all!! We have tried to take him before and had no luck! So John got up early and started researching online to find a dentist who specialized with children who have Autism and Cerebral Palsy and he found one in Richmond (an hour drive). I will tell you I would drive 2 hours for the love and care and compassion this dentist and her assistant had for Gabriel! It was such a breath of fresh air to not be judged because he didn't want to sit still or because he became upset when it was time to check his teeth. We have been struggling to get him to brush his teeth and when we do he just bites and holds the toothbrush in his mouth and he is so strong, you cannot move it...they were so gracious and did their best job to look in and find what needed to be done... The baby tooth he broke will need to be pulled and he had 2 cavities in the upper back that need to be filled, so we are now waiting for the neurologist to clear him for surgery to have the work done he will have to be put to sleep and because he has severe seizures and takes so much medicine, this is a huge risk. So please pray for wisdom and knowledge and that we would be able to get this work done quickly for him. We are so thankful and praise God for directing us to this amazing dentist!!!

Hahahha...now you understand why he is sitting in the chair..they have cable tv and he was watching Max and Ruby...lol
Gabriel and Prayer
This picture just brings tears of JOY to my eyes.
Weds. evening after service John and a couple guys were huddled in a time of prayer. Gabriel and myself were entering the sanctuary and he spotted them and he just jumped right in and put his arms around two of the guys waists and he stood there quietly in agreement through out the entire prayer session!
It is truly the working of the Holy Spirit in his life and a testimony of what God can do and how much peace there is in His name. If you know Gabriel...you know what I am talking about. His body is on continual over drive and he twitches and shakes at all times due to the Cerebral Palsy..but not when he is in prayer...he can sit completely still and quiet for long periods of time.
The Peace of God is AWESOME!!!!
Junior and Spencer's Bday Party
We celebrated Junior's 13th and Spencer's 12th birthday 2 weekend ago. It was lots of fun and the most stress free party we have ever had! teen boys are so EASY!! Find a great park, Barbecue some hot dogs, put out some snacks, football and you are done!!!
They were truly blessed with so many great friends to come and hang out and make their day special. They made out with over a hundred bucks each and bags full of candy!
They were happy boys :)
