Happy 8th Birthday Nalsy Salsy!

This is Nathaniel leaving for school this morning as an eight year old!!

Today is ALL about Nathaniel Day!!! Salsy turns 8 today and he is so excited this year...well actually every year...he just loves birthdays and celebrations... He is the kid that hates birthday bags...he wants his presents wrapped and bows and all that stuff!!! He elected to take chocolate chip cookies and juice to school to celebrate with his classroom today. Tonight we will have meatball sandwiches and his dessert of choice which I made as he asked for a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream pie with chocolate syrup drizzled all over it! He got a presents in the mail yesterday from Oma and Aunt Tammi and he can't wait to open them tonight!!! We gave each of them this past birthdays a choice if they wanted dad and I to go out a buy a present and wrap it or take them to the store and allow them to pick out a gift of their choice up to $20.00 so he elected to go to the store...which surprised me!!! He will have the kids from his class and church over next weekend for Ice cream Sundaes.

Sorry John!

So John will probably kill me but you have to know me by now if I grab my camera...it's going on the blog! :) So with the weather being so cold here and John still walking and delivering mail, he has started to wear a beanie to work. So when he gets home and takes it off...he has totally funny hat hair!!! It is all down and like he has bangs! So if you know John you know his hair is always slicked and gelled back! So it makes me laugh..but the other night he walked in and I laughed and thought I know just who you look like!!! Baby William!!! hahahahaha Baby William is the baby that Aunt Tiffany bought Destinee 3 Christmas' ago. This baby was very expensive as it looks and feels like a real baby.....but I just didn't know how real it looked until I figured it out....baby William looks just like John with hat hair!!!! hahahahaa Don't you see it...the bangs, the eyebrows, the big checks and pouty lips......TOTALLY!!!!

Polar Express

The week before Christmas break, Gabriel's class spent the week reading Polar Express and doing activities that helped them visualize the story! They got golden tickets and they made bell necklaces and hot cocoa. They had a lot of fun. Ms. Carol sent me pictures of the week and I just wanted to share them with you all as I know they show what great progress he is truly making....We Praise a Great God!!!

OH! More great news!!! Jody Davis, the guitar player for Newsboys is back with the group...he left 5 years ago to stay home and help take care of his daughter who was born with cerebral Palsy and was very sick! Welcome Back!!!!

Spencer's 1st Concert

Pictures I just think are adorable :)

I was downloading pictures and trying to clean out some photos on my computer and I cam across these photos and just thought they are too cute! I was reminded of how truly blessed God has made me by these 5 amazing kids! (above is Nathaniel,Spencer, Junior and Gabriel)
Destinee ...she just turned 13 so it is rare to get her to allow you to take a picture of her anymore...her hair is never done enough or her outfit is not dressed up enough! hahaha..i think she is blessed to have so much natural and spiritual beauty all the rest doesn't much matter!

Gabriel just really loves when the brothers will allow him to hug on them and pose for a photo!

Nathaniel....I could just squeeze those cheeks he is so cute!!!!
